Our goal is that of organizing for you an unforgettable holiday.
The residences which are given for rent by Destination Villas Italy, are villas and private holiday houses which reflect the typical Italian lifestyle, the personal taste of their owners and the traditions of the different Italian regions.
These kinds of accommodation are selected by our collaborators and each year their comfort and functionality are tested. Photos and descriptions of the houses are true and detailed, we are always ready to provide you with any further information.
We are not liable for any inconveniences caused by bad weather conditions, by possible faults in the supply of electric light, gas and water which in some cases and in some areas can exceptionally occur and because of the possible opening of building yards in the neighbourhood of the houses themselves.
1 - Select the house (or houses) you would like to rent. Write down the name, the resort and the chosen period, the date of arrival and departure and the number of guests, send your non binding rent request form. If your are doubtful about what to choose, ask us for further information and our advice.
2 - DVI sends by e-mail, as soon as possible the confirmation of availability of the property you have chosen. The property chosen, if confirmed, will be put on stand-by for no more than 48 hours.
3 - In order to complete your booking you must pay within 48 hours following the e-mail confirmation, an earnest equal to 25/30%, as shown in the house card, of the total price of the lease, otherwise the lease is cancelled. You can pay by bank transfer or credit card. The confirmation earnest will in no case be given back. For any cancellation before thirty days from the date of the vacancy will be given a voucher equal to the paid amount valid within one year after issuance.
4 - For reservations made within less than thirty days from the beginning of the period of stay, the payment of the total amount must be paid within 24 hours from confirmation.
5 - From this moment the house is booked in your name.
6 - We will provide you with all information about the terms and modes of payment and what you should know on your arrival (time of key delivery, name and telephone of the person encharged to welcome you, meeting place, etc.).
7 - The total amount must be paid within 40 days before the beginning of the lease, otherwise the reservation is cancelled and the earnest is not given back.
8 - If circumstances beyond one’s control make it impossible for the owner to lease his property, DVI can timely provide the customer with another accommodation. If the customer is not satisfied with the new solution, he is entitled to have back the amount he has paid, but he is not entitled to further claims.
Prices are given per week and per housing unit.
For cities of art prices are shown per day.
In the house card the services and supplies included in the price and the extra charges to be paid on your arrival are shown.
The customer pays in cash the caution money provided by the contract which will be given back on his leaving, extra charges not included.
He pays in advance the cleaning charges and the other services required, and he is liable for compensating any possible damages caused to objects and to the property by him or by the other people sharing the property with him.
The house is to be left tidy and cleaned. The customer must control and require that an accurate cleaning of the house is carried out. A contention can rightfully take place for the perfect cleaning and tidying up of the house, but it does not entitle to any claims or refunds.
The customer binds himself to leave the house on the date and at the time fixed by the lease contract.
The owner is entitled to enter the leased property to carry out ordinary works such as the garden or the swimming pool cleaning and whenever he thinks the guests are behaving rudely.
The owner or a person delegated by him will provide as soon as possible for possible repairs to be done in the house.
The customer must inform the person responsible for the property, about possible differences he has noticed in the property compared with its description and must send a complaint by fax to DVI within 48 hours from his arrival. Complaints sent after 48 hours will be not taken into account.
DVI is not liable for any controversies arising between the customer and the owner.
Everything is regulated under the provisions of Italian law.
SALERNO courts will have exclusive jurisdiction for any dispute that may arise over the interpretation, execution and termination of the contract.
The period of stay is 7 days, the arrival takes place on Saturday and the leaving on the following Saturday.
In special cases it is possible to book a different period of stay.
Unless different agreements have been made with DVI, arrivals take place on Saturday afternoon between 4.00 p.m. and 8.00 p.m.
As regards delays a penalty varying according to the time of arrival and the characteristics of the property is provided. Departures take place on the following Saturday within 10.00 a.m.
In case the customer for whatever reason will not be able to arrive on the fixed day or he will leave the property before the fixed leaving time he is not entitled to any refund.
